What is JupyterLab's extension/widget similar to Jupyter Notebook's python-markdown extension

I am looking for a similar Jupyter Notebook’s python-markdown extension. JupyterLab does not support Jupyter Notebook’s extensions and plugins.

I use heavily Python Markdown.
