Unable to type in jupyter terminal

Hi, New to Jupyter notebooks, when I start my (Anaconda) Jupyter notebook I get the following:

I’m unable to type anything into this terminal window - is that correct?
I’m running on Windows 10, I also get a browser window localhost:8888/tree and can select a notebook from the list.
Thanks for any help

It is correct that you can’t type there. Only the application runs there.

How can I utilize the Anaconda prompt? It is now occupied by a Jupyter notebook, which prevents me from using it. How should I utilize it, exactly? how that person in the image is using it
I am attaching the image file so that it is easier for you to understand my question. still if is there any more information needed pls let me know.

I’m not on Windows, and so I cannot test.
If you try to open the Anaconda prompt again from the Start menu, does it open another instance?

Alternatively, here lists a few ways of launching on Windows Jupyter installed via Anaconda. Can you do one of the other methods and still access your Anaconda prompt then?
