Unable to see the "+" sign on the blue "New Launcher" button in the filebrowser

Hello,
I am using a custom launcher extension in Jupyter Lab 4.2.5.
Similar to this issue, I was unable to see the “New Launcher” button once I disable the default @jupyterlab/launcher-extension and replace it with my custom extension. After creating a schema/plugin.json file as suggested in the issue’s discussion, I can now see the blue button but the plus sign is still missing.

Does someone have any suggestions or recommendations on how I could resolve this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
