For some reason, I’ve recently found that when I download files from my Jupyter notebook server, I am getting duplicate downloads. This is occurring on both Safari and Firefox browsers.

I’ve noticed this too, though haven’t checked what version(s) of notebook it relates to. Download a notebook as ipynb opens two blank tabs, each of which downloads the ipynb file.

Could one of you file a bug on https://github.com/jupyter/notebook/ (and first check if there isn’t one already)?
I am also facing the same problem with Google Chrome!
Any help?
