Python 3 (ipykernel) shortcut

Hi,

In the screenshot below from the Jupyter Lab launcher, it can be seen that there is a shortcut called Python 3 (ipykernel). Clicking on the Python 3 (ipykernel) shortcut icon starts an empty notebook.

It is possible to modify this shortcut to start a different saved notebook?

There are a few extensions that provide notebook templates:

Hi bollwyvl,

Thanks for the info - I can see with the templates extension it is possible to choose
File->New->Template to add a notebook shortcut to the launcher.

Do you know of a way to automatically adding the shortcut before jupyter lab is launched? Rather than adding it manually?
