This came up in the UK Research Software Engineering group, I thought it might be interesting to others on this forum
eLife are running a community call for open-source software and tool builders/contributors next Monday, June 24 4pm BST.
This particular call features tools/platforms for increasing reproducibility in research (e.g. Jupyter/Binder, eLife’s reproducible document). There’s also a presentation from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative on their new funding to support open-source software for science.
They are operating an open agenda (https://public.etherpad-mozilla.org/p/community-call-Jun24-2019), so anyone working on open-source tools are welcomed to add their own projects (presentations are 5min + 2 min Q+A).
