[ANN] JupyterHub 2.1.0 (and 2.1.1)

We’ve released JupyterHub 2.1*.

It’s a small release, mostly with refinements to new features in JupyterHub 2.0 surrounding roles and scopes. Highlights:

  • consistent behavior based on access permissions when attempting to access a non-running server that’s not yours (rather than the old behavior of redirecting to your own server sometimes).
  • add missing read:metrics scope needed for authenticated access to the metrics endpoint
