Which pluggin(s) provide the classing Jupyter notebook file browser (i.e. tree view) and classical Jupyter notebook? Is there a way of getting a list of pluggins?

If I recall right there are no plugins in the legacy Jupyter Notebook (i.e. version 6). Version 7+ uses plugins but it is not legacy but actively maintained software. The plugins defined by notebook 7 can be found in notebook/packages at main · jupyter/notebook · GitHub

alas there is not one for Notebook 7. There is one for JupyterLab and it would be quite easy to re-use the script which generates the list by copying it over - I would say this would be a great first contribution!

Thanks for clarifying. I thought that pluggins providing notebook functionality in jupyter lab came from somewhere in the jupyter lab project. I was wrong. I will have a look for that script.
