Hi,
I’m Edgar Margffoy, the main developer of Pywinpty (https://github.com/andfoy/pywinpty), which is used by the Jupyter ecosystem as part of terminado, which in turn is being used in Jupyterlab to spawn pseudoterminals in Windows.
Right now pywinpty is in need of development resources, given that it is being maintained by a single person and since it has more than 30M downloads, many issues and features have been delayed and pushed out due to this lack of resources. Recently, DataDog helped us to release the latest version of winpty-rs (the backend library behind pywinpty) to improve the performance and stability of it, however, more resources are required to improve other aspects of the library, such as adding proper asyncio support and splitting the installation binaries.
I was wondering if anyone was willing to donate to the project so that we can sustain and support it long term! https://github.com/sponsors/andfoy/
