Podman action-k3s-helm failing on nektos act System has not been booted with systemd as init system (P\ID 1). Can't operate

need help with action-k3s-helm, it sent me here. I have a post already here
Getting starting with act locallly with podman, need help, System has not been booted with systemd as init system (P\ID 1). Can't operate - Deploying Dask - Dask Forum System has not been booted with systemd as init system (P\ID 1). Can’t operate.
before I try and reinvent the wheel wanted to ask if anyone saw this.

act emulates a GitHub action environment in a container. action-k3s-helm installs Kubernetes in a GitHub VM, so I doubt it will ever work inside Act.

because it works on github actions themselves, see https://github.com/dask/dask-gateway/actions/runs/6387294952/job/17335411540 So I suppose it should work in act eventually.
