Jupyterlab extensions downloading issue

Hello,

When I try to install or update any jupyterlab extensions, I got the error:

Error: ERROR: Could not open requirements file: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:\\Users\\Thomas\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\tmp7rvtr5s7'

And in fact this file does not exist in that folder.

How can I fix that?

did you try to run jupyter as admin?

I just opened cmd as admin, opened jupyter lab and tried to install extansions but I got the same error again, I don’t know this is what you were asking, but it stills does not work this way

Would you mind opening a bug report on Issues · jupyterlab/jupyterlab · GitHub and adding in the JupyterLab version that you have installed? I think I know what the problem is (in JupyterLab).
