Jupyterhub on K8s: New released version with Jupyterhub 2.0.0 as requirement

The latest released version of zero-to-jupyterhub-k8s, v1.2.0, has JupyterHub==1.5.0 as requirement. This version requirement has been updated directly in master a couple of weeks ago to the newer JupyterHub 2.0.0, but no new release has been made since.

Is there a plan to release a new version using JupyterHub in the short term? It would be great to have a fixed snapshot of the repo using the new JupyterHub’s version instead of having to use master branch, which changes frequently.

It’s in progress! There are some breaking changes planned in Z2JH 2.0.0 so it’s important to get them right first time.

Things are moving. Optimistically, we could have an beta release this week but it could easily get delayed.
