ISO: Contractor to work on a jupyter multi-hub deployment and an autograding infrastructure for Earth Lab University of CO, Boulder

Hi All,
We are looking for someone to pick up some amazing work started by Tim Head for us here at earth lab - University of Colorado, Boulder. This work includes refining a multi-hub deployment we have for Jupyter in our classes and building out an autograding platform. The autograding platform has been started and utilizes github and circle CI to provide feedback to students.

We would like this work to be done this spring / early summer in time for our second cohort of students who start in August.

If you are interested in this work, please send the following to earth.lab colorado.edu :

  1. a resume and
  2. brief overview / cover letter of your experience specific to developing tools and applications in the jupyter environment (links to examples are great if you have them) OR examples of other tool development

Please get in touch if you have experience working on these types of projects in a python / jupyter environment and if these are projects that you’d be keen to work on this spring.
Best,
Leah

Hi Leah, is there an option to collaborate/work part time? I’ve set up JupyterHub before- specifically on a VM with docker. Micheleenharris(at)gmail.com thanks.

Hi Leah,

Interested on knowing more about the project. I have built multiple multi-user Jupyter installations mostly using Kubernetes. You can see some of my early experiments here. I am also familiar with Circle CI.

My contact: df.rodriguez143@gmail.com

Thanks,
