How to open myst/markdown on retrolab with jupytext?

Hello,

I want to open .md notebooks (converted with jupytext) in retrolab.

It works with classical notebook and jupyterlab but not with retrolab. I followed instructions on jupytext.readtedocs.io to configure jupyterlab and I tried with both jupytext markdown and myst.

Is it supposed to work ? If not, does anyone know why it doesn’t work ?

My library versions are :

  • jupyterlab: 3.2.8
  • jupytext: 1.13.6
  • retrolab: 0.3.16

It probably won’t work today. Have a look at this issue:

Most likely, the /editor/ url will grow a new component, e.g. /editor/foo.md?factory=Notebook or something. or /editor/Notebook:foo.md
