Conflicting dependencies with jupyterlab-gitlab extension

I am not sure how to fix the issue below as it appears that the jupyterlab and gitlab extension are both v4.0.0:

"jupyterlab-gitlab@4.0.0" is not compatible with the current JupyterLab

Do you notice any issue in the functionality of the extension? If you dont, you can safely ignore the message. In case if you find any problems in working of extension, please post it here.

I cannot reproduce your issue. I do get incompatibility warning but JupyterLab is working as expected. Here is my env:

Can you post the logs of JupyterLab and your browser console logs?

my jupyterlab is working I just don’t see the jupyterlab-git extension in the GUI.
Here is what I was looking to see in the GUI but its not there.

this can be closed. I was using the wrong extension. I installed jupyterlab-git and uninstalled jupyterlab-gitlab and I can now see the tab in the GUI. Thanks for your feedback and assistance.
