Can I install and use jupyter-ai?

Last week I set up a TLJH on a cloud server. It has been many years since I have used tljh. Now I would like to use it again. jupyter-ai looks exciting. In a Terminal, I did

pip install jupyter-ai[all]

I have not been able to get the little chat icon to appear on the left-side. I am hoping to find out that I can use it.

I just did this:

sudo -E pip install jupyter-ai[all] 
Then got on the admin page stopped all. Stopped the hub. 
When it came back up, it was there!
