"Access to the file was denied" on Windows 11 with Avast! Premium Security as AV

On installation, I could run Jupyter Notebook via Anaconda Navigator just fine. But for some reason, I am now getting an “Access to the file was denied” error.

I saw a thread from StackOverflow that mentions that it could be fixed by adding the “pythonw.exe” file to Windows Security’s “controlled app” list. However, as I am using Avast!, I do not seem to have that option when navigating Windows Security on Windows 11. Unfortunately, even adding the said file to Avast!'s exception list does nothing to address the issue.

Does anybody have any idea on how to address this?

If the issue is really caused by your AV, I would contact their support and ask them to fix it?
