Zenodo DOI - not working with mybinder.org

I just tried to get our Zenodo repository deployed with mybinder.org.

repo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.15771827
binder: https://mybinder.org/v2/zenodo/10.5281/zenodo.15771827/

trying to launch the binder container results in:

Waiting for build to start...
Picked Git content provider.
fatal: repository '10.5281/zenodo.15771827' does not existError during build: Failed to clone repository from 10.5281/zenodo.15771827 (ref 15771827).Error in event stream: Error

The repository in general should work flawlessly, as launching binder with the github repository works.

Is this an error with Zenodo or the integration in mybinder?

I see someone pointed out “Binder seems to have a problem with Zenodo DOIs right now” over in the Zulip JupyterHub chat channel today. Same thing as you were it tries for build to start but fails.
