What Happened to Notebooks and Lab in latest upgrade

I mean this worked fine a month ago, notebooks and lab opened fine with no issues.
Now, runs forever, some notebooks open and others timeout.
Why is this recommended for DS work?

Some time ago I’ve had an intermittent issue with very slow kernel response times, that would go away after a server restart. Unfortunately your description of the situation isn’t sufficient to identify what is happening. If you want to get some input from others, please check this note how to ask questions or this excellent blog post and try to follow the advice there.

As an extra advice, please also keep the following in mind: you are relying on largely a volunteer-run open source project, and you aren’t paying for support. If you are using a commercial jupyter installation provided by some organization, contact its support instead.
