Subclasses of jupyter_client.manager.KernelManager?

We’re looking into possible changes internal to jupyter_client.manager.KernelManager (and AsyncKernelManager) but would like to know and understand what custom subclasses of KernelManager might exist in order to preserve backward compatibility as much as possible. If you know of any subclass implementations, I’m hoping you could reply to this thread, send me an email using the email associated with my GitHub’s profile (kevin-bates), or join in the discussion on Kernel Environment Provisioning.

Thank you,
