Just realized we never posted about this in the Discourse, so this one is a “better late than never” post 
A few weeks ago, our Outreachy intern Leticia (https://twitter.com/leleportella) wrote a blog post about work she’s done on building an authenticator that is “built in” to JupyterHub. It gives a more powerful authentication / sign-up mechanism than the default JupyterHub authenticator.
