Restrict the 'Other' applications such as Markdown File, Text File option including Filebrowser on a per user basis

Dear All

We are trying to restrict certain applications based on AD groups on Jupyterhub using kernelSpec c_spawner_args. We were able to restrict Kernels, terminals using this method. Please let me know is there a way to restrict the launcher applications under ‘Other’ such as Markdown File, Text File and ‘Show contextual help’ sections. Also we would like to hide the Filebrowser for a set of users but not globally.

Any suggestions regarding this will be very helpful. Thank you.
