We (@fperez and I) recently wrote a blog post announcing that the NSF has decided to fund our proposal “Jupyter meets the Earth: Enabling discovery in geoscience through interactive computing at scale”. The proposal team includes @fperez, @jhamman, Laurel Larsen, Kevin Paul, myself, @choldgraf, and @yuvipanda. This post is a place where we are hoping to gather your input, have discussions and generate new ideas as we go along.
