Hey All, UC Berkeley just posted a new job for someone to maintain and improve Berkeley’s large-scale, cloud-based JupyterHub infrastructure. UC Berkeley has one of the premier deployments of JupyterHub, a cloud-based application that creates and shares computational documents. UC Berkeley’s JupyterHub is used to teach thousands of students across more than 25+ departments.
As part of this role, You’ll ensure that tools like Jupyter Notebooks, RStudio, etc., function smoothly and meet the demands of thousands of users, including students and faculty. You’ll also work collaboratively with the open-source Jupyter community of other universities, research institutions, and nonprofits to make enhancements and improvements. You’ll use your experience and knowledge of software development, cloud infrastructure design, system administration, and best security practices to build and deploy software that provides thousands of students with computing environments.
