I’m glad to announce version 0.3.0 of Guix-Jupyter, the Jupyter kernel that builds upon Guix to deploy the execution environment of notebooks in a reproducible fashion:
https://hpc.guix.info/blog/2024/11/guix-jupyter-0.3.0-released/
It brings the ability to specify multiple channels to pull from (giving access to more packages), completion support in the Guile kernel, and a variety of bug fixes and improvements.
After a three-year hiatus, the mission of Guix-Jupyter—supporting reproducible deployment for notebooks—still seems very much à propos.
But the project needs your help to go further: do report issues and submit merge requests on its new Codeberg home!
