Hello,
The official Jupyterhub documentation mentions \<hub\_url\> and\<hub\_ip\> in the proxy settings section:

[jupyterhub/troubleshooting.md at 95de2618a3e021d5f78434969fd70ff10859d372 · jupyterhub/jupyterhub · GitHub](https://github.com/jupyterhub/jupyterhub/blob/95de2618a3e021d5f78434969fd70ff10859d372/docs/source/troubleshooting.md#proxy-settings-403-get).

What these \<hub\_url\> and \<hub\_ip\> exactly are?

- \<hub\_ip\> is the IP of hub service, hub pod or something else?
- if I use e.g. domain “my-domain com”, then \<hub\_url\> is “my-domain com/hub”?

I need to configure proxy settings, I tried multiple options for the \<hub\_url\> and \<hub\_ip\> but any of them works.

Thank you for you help!
