# Strange behaviour when selecting text with mouse

I recently did a conda update to jupyterlab 4.0.11 and some new editting behaviour is hard to get used to. It is difficult to highlight text that I want to cut/copy/delete, especially when I get near parentheses and the start/end of paragraphs. Was this intended? Am I crazy? Can I turn it off?
