Hi folks,

This is the announcement you were all waiting for. 😀

**JupyterCon 2020** will be held 10–13 August in Berlin, Germany (sprints on the 14th of August). We announced it yesterday [on the Project Jupyter blog](https://blog.jupyter.org/jupytercon-2020-is-a-go-47c82b281fa8) and Twitter.

- Follow [@JupyterCon](https://twitter.com/JupyterCon) on Twitter for upcoming announcements.

I am the JupyterCon 2020 General Chair, with Sylvain Corlay as Vice-Chair, and Jason Grout as Technical Program Chair. We are joined by a fabulous leadership team (see the blog post).

CFP will open soon. In the meantime, we’re [calling for volunteers](https://forms.gle/B3WY6myQASqWd3cYA) to register their interest to review proposals.
