Greetings,

I am trying to launch Jypter Notebook for running ArcGIS Pro scripts.

I get an error mesage: **SyntaxError: invalid syntax**

I get an error at nbextension in:

>

jupyter nbextension enable --py

>

I don’t understand the invalid syntax error??
Any suggestions are welcome.

What version of JupyterLab are you using? That is the old extension stuff. You don’t need to enable the prebuilt stuff with recent JupyterLab 3 and JupyterLab 4. Did you upgrade and still trying old approaches? (I see that command mentioned on [a page that has the title ‘install-older-versions’](https://developers.arcgis.com/python/guide/install-older-versions/).)

Your category tag says JupyterLab, yet your post says Jypter Notebook . You should specify better the interface you are using along with the version.
