> JupyterLab spreadsheet editor for tabular data (e.g. csv, tsv) - jupyterlab-contrib/jupyterlab-spreadsheet-editor

Anybody knows if the current maintainers are still active in the community?

Would be nice to :

- make it working with JupyterLab 4
- have a view that renders a truncated view of the value in a cell when there is a lot of characters, in order to avoid to have a massive table that doesn’t fit.

Hi, author here. I’ve started porting it to JupyterLab 4 and have some progress locally but was kept busy by other things. When prioritizing unpaid/volunteer work on things I made I often look at how many users reqeust a specific thing and this one had limitted number of requests so far ( [Support for JupyterLab 4.0 · Issue #61 · jupyterlab-contrib/jupyterlab-spreadsheet-editor · GitHub](https://github.com/jupyterlab-contrib/jupyterlab-spreadsheet-editor/issues/61)) so it was put on my back burner. As for your feature suggestion - please open an issue on GitHub.

thanks a lot.
no worries, no rush, I totally understand.
You did such a good work with this extension that it’s being used by my users 🙂
I’ll follow up via github as suggested.

Hey Krassowski,
Just migrated on my side to jupyterlab 4 and got to say you out of all extensions that exist is really the one i’m missing the most. The extension is just so handy for editing csv files 🙂 . Hoping you will be able to updated it soon.
And thanks for taking the time to do it.
Added a thumbs up in the github request 😉
