Hello,

I want to open `.md` notebooks (converted with jupytext) in retrolab.

It works with classical notebook and jupyterlab but not with retrolab. I followed [instructions on jupytext.readtedocs.io](https://jupytext.readthedocs.io/en/latest/#install) to configure jupyterlab and I tried with both jupytext markdown and myst.

Is it supposed to work ? If not, does anyone know why it doesn’t work ?

My library versions are :

- jupyterlab: 3.2.8
- jupytext: 1.13.6
- retrolab: 0.3.16

It probably won’t work today. Have a look at this issue:

- [Story for generic document factory · Issue #290 · jupyterlab/retrolab · GitHub](https://github.com/jupyterlab/retrolab/issues/290)

Most likely, the `/editor/` url will grow a new component, e.g. `/editor/foo.md?factory=Notebook` or something. or `/editor/Notebook:foo.md`
