# How can I update the installed version of jupyter lab?

I have jupyter lab version 35.3 installed. I need to upgrade to version 4. Can it be done without creating another virtual environment?  
How can I update the installed version of jupyter lab. I will appreciate help.

conda update --all installed version 4.
