Using View → Command Palette, → Advanced Settings Editor → Theme → User Preferences, I can for, code, content and ui, select font family and specify font size; can I also specify font COLOR?

What I really want, is to be able to specify color of input when entering text/. numbers/symbols t in a CODE cell. Likewise for output and possibly MARKDWN cells.

Not a coder/programmer, just a user, usnig Sagemath with Jupyter Lab

Thank you

This could be a good enhancement request if posted on [GitHub · Where software is built](https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab/issues)

In the Settings menu you could change the Theme to “Dark High Contrast” in newer versions of JupyterLab. Usually, the color of the code itself is determined by syntax highlighting, but maybe there should be a way to opt-out of highlighting to have higher contrast.
