Hi,
Previously, when in a Notebook cell, I could use the “ESC” key to switch from Edit mode to Command mode. Now, maybe after a Firefox update, this no longer works. The ESC keypress just doesn’t seem to do anything at all.
I’m using Jupyterhub + Jupyterlab, and in the Settings pane (screenshot) I added “command+ESC” as a keyboard shortcut to enter Command Mode. This WORKS. Yet just ESC alone does NOT work.
I would appreciate any tips on how to debug/proceed.
[Edit: tried disabling all extensions, that had no effect.]
[Edit: I downloaded Firefox 153.0 and ESC works. Ugh.]
[Edit: I downloaded Firefox 154.0b7 beta and ESC works again… so maybe I just need to wait for 154 to be released…]

Notebook 7.5.6 (in Jupyterlab, if I “Open in Jupyter Notebook”, I get the same behavior)
