It comes with Python & R … however I’m looking for formatters for other languages - Typescript/Javascript specifically.

The _Language Servers_ only go so far: they certainly help with auto-completion and the like - but they don’t provide anything for `format cell`

Is there a list anywhere? Does anyone know of a java-/type-script formatter that works in jupyterlab (4.1)?

I tried `prettier` and got it working in a basic state. The important bit is before adding your formatter for javascript in the jupyterlab settings you need to add it to the python configuration file of your environment like noted [here](https://github.com/jupyterlab-contrib/jupyterlab_code_formatter/blob/55a9d045ef2edb614c6cba057ab990f26013b12c/docs/custom-formatter.md)
