# Accidentally deleted "Documents" folder in jupyterlab

Can someone help me undelete the folder? I can’t find it in my recycle bin.

It is in Windows, so there is no “.local/share/Trash/files” as explained in [Recover Files Deleted From Jupyter Notebook - Jupyter Notebook Tutorial (tutorialexample.com)](https://www.tutorialexample.com/recover-files-deleted-from-jupyter-notebook-jupyter-notebook-tutorial/)

I also can’t find it in my Recycle Bin.

You could try to recover your files with something like [Windows File Recovery](https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9n26s50ln705?hl=en-us&gl=US). There are probably dozens of tools out there for that kind of job.

Turns out that the “Documents” folder was moved to the Desktop. Only found it just now. Thanks @spookster for replying!
