# Accessibility via extensions for JupyterLab

Hello everyone,

for a project I’d like to add some sort of interaction method in JupyterLab.  
However, I have never developed an extension for JupyterLab before.

Generally I’m curious which parts of the JupyterLab I can access via an extension.  
As example, in the following picture I highlighted the areas where I think it would be nice to add said interaction method.

Which of these areas are accessible via a JupyterLab extension?
