# About the nbconvert category

nbconvert is a tool for converting the Jupyter Notebook format into a number of other output formats (such as HTML and PDF).

## Can someone please provide code base location of nbconvert via jupyter. In this command -

## jupyter nbconvert --to markdown file

In particular how raw image data is saved as images.
