I checked and it looks like [widget-ts-cookiecutter readme](https://github.com/jupyter-widgets/widget-ts-cookiecutter/blob/f8c4f1d2c61374811423eb724b9eb11c6e2f10b1/%7B%7Bcookiecutter.github_project_name%7D%7D/README.md) already removed the JupyterLab part of instructions leaving just `pip install ...`
I did the same in my repo but the [widget-svelte-cookiecutter](https://github.com/cabreraalex/widget-svelte-cookiecutter) that I used still has it.

I already have one active pull request open there. I’ll see if I can figure out how to send a separate one concerning install instructions).

Huge thanks to @cabreraalex for sharing the Svelte widget template [Creating Modern, Reactive Jupyter Widgets with Svelte](https://discourse.jupyter.org/t/creating-modern-reactive-jupyter-widgets-with-svelte/6602)
I found it through Svelte channels and it totally made my day 💚
